Listening to Randy Shoup's
interview of his
eBay’s Architectural Principles presentation I was at first surprised by how similar their architecture was to my views on how to design a trading system (something I have done for fourteen years!). Then to remember e-bay may not be a high-frequency trading system but it is both an exchange, a back office and a front end system.
